Founded in 2013, Purple Cherry Dash began as a passion project — a creative space celebrating self-expression, individuality, and the alternative spirit within South Africa.
What started as a blog sharing product reviews and collaborations with local artists soon grew into something more. Inspired by colour, creativity, and community, I began handcrafting unique accessories and curating bold hair pigments for friends and followers alike. The demand quickly followed, and in 2018, Purple Cherry Dash officially became a small South African business, dedicated to helping others express themselves fearlessly through vibrant, authentic products.
Over the years, Purple Cherry Dash has evolved from a colourful side project into a lifestyle brand rooted in authenticity and creativity. Today, it continues to celebrate alternative beauty, mindful living, and unique self-care — offering products that blend bold personality with natural inspiration.
